Learning By Doing
Adults learn in a variety of ways. Some prefer thinking, others doing. Our design will include indoor and outdoor activities, paired conversations, personal reflection and group discussion. A typical design will include an activity that addresses a specific theme, such as sharing ideas, communicating effectively, or being innovative. We will do an activity as a group and then each person will reflect on a few questions relating to the activity. We will then discuss what happened and relate the activity and its insights back to the work environment.

Although the activities are fun, energizing and intellectually stimulating, they are done for a specific purpose and often prompt an interesting and relevant discussion. We find that participants often remember the activity and lessons learned for years to come.
